Manya Gupta
Hello! I’m Manya. I grew up in Jaipur, studied political science and economics at Penn, and now live in D.C., where I work as a management consultant at BCG.
I want to help reduce the risks from advanced AI and engineered pandemics. I’m personally and professionally interested in effective altruism and other ways of making the world better and more just. ◆
I grew up competitively debating for Team India at WSDC, which shaped a lot of the intellectual architecture of my brain. I spent a lot of college daydreaming about becoming a physician-anthropologist. Some things that bring me joy include fostering cats, thinking about moral philosophy and pop culture, and watching movies.
